Admiral-Beef Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 ok, if u don't like this post, then blame ultimatlydemise, he had the idea in another topic, and i thought it would be funny. so go ahead and say whatever, as long as it applies to why we park in drive ways
ElvisMiggell Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 I'm thinking it has something to do with keeping the roads clear enough for other cars to drive down. But i could be wrong.... Elvismiggell. Strike me down and i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine... Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Admiral-Beef Posted December 7, 2002 Author Posted December 7, 2002 .......... You are one crazy person, thats to simple of an answer to be correct, every answer in the universe has to be complex, duh

Loserboy Posted December 9, 2002 Posted December 9, 2002 Also If you park your car on sidewalks, bike-trails and what not.The big blue pedestrian of unappines will probably stomp all over them with his big size 11 boots. This from a non car owner who frequently finds the only entrance to his house blocked by inconsiderate motorists. Especially since he has a put up a giant sign that says in big bold red letters "Do not park here!!, You will be blocking my only!!! entrance. So for the love of god please do not park here!!!!" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, set that same man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life,
the_mask Posted December 10, 2002 Posted December 10, 2002 Well I avoid parking on sidewalks, cause the guys in green (cop "fashion" in Germany) would notice. Even if they'd never again cross this section of the road, once I parked there, they'd notice and comment it with a little bill of theirs. So, I avoid this. I rather tend to not parking anywhere crowded with other cars as well, cause I don't want to have any dents or scratches in my car as well. I'd rather walk a bit than have a demolished car. Of course women don't see this as logic, they'd rather park right in front of a shopping center for example. Of course that's the most logical place to park, where all the shopping karts pass , .... http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
ElvisMiggell Posted December 13, 2002 Posted December 13, 2002 Pah! Women drivers are (in general, i'm sure there are exceptions) awful!!! Elvismiggell. Strike me down and i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine... Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Guest Scathane Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 Alpha, you ask why we drive in a parkway. I bet it has something to do with the fact that we also park in a driveway. Of course, it could also be that English is a logic-defying language that just does this sort of thing to screw around with you head and confuse everyone.
the_mask Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 Elvis, I'm still looking for that one exception that'll prove the rule Although theory suggests, that she does exist. http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif

ElvisMiggell Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 My Mum's quite a decent driver.... Elvismiggell. Strike me down and i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine... Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Trejiuvanat Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 My mom's a pretty decent driver, too. Which might not say a lot about Costa RIcan driving standards. Costa Rica had a lot of problems with the traffic, considering that San josé was only a small town with a big theater in the middle, it had pretty small streets. Which haven't become bigger. There is hardly any regulations or government programs to teach people how to drive and behave while driving, so there are lots of accidents, bribable police officer, and cars parking almost everywhere. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
