Igor threw his saber away and the thing just looped around in the air, not coming back. I jested that maybe it was just broken. After that it became a guessing game for me and Rogue how he did that. Igor even released a demo where you could see that he just stood there, throwing the saber and it looped in the air forever. He made an animated pic of it as well, come on Igor show it again

 

Some time later someone posted detailed instructions on how to do this little stunt, I dunno the name right now, but thanks man

We pleaded with Igor to tell us but he was powerful in the dark side and would not divulge the information. One day a powerful Jedi posted detailed instructions on how to accomplish this feat and me and Mask where very greatful.

 

Alas i have become old and this information has leaked out of my head. I do think it is about time though to don my Jedi cloak, dust off the lightsaber and once again strike fear into the hearts of the Sith

It's good to see so many people still playing JKII online. Gamespy is not as busy as it used to be but accessing the multiplayer in-game is the best way to find a good server with laods of players.

Is it an in-depth game when you get into the charactor, like JKII and develop or do you just a around blasting things until you stumble across your bounty?

 

Wait a minute................JKII was mostly just running around blasting things but i think you get what i mean.....................hopefully.

Well it was release=d in Britain today, so now i'm allowed to say. One of the advantages of being a 'local' at the nearest Gamestation shop is that i've become an independant assessor. So i get to be the first to play the new games and write reviews for them. I only had time to play half an hour yesterday. That gets you partway through the first level. You get twin blasters with an pretty intelligent independant targetting system. So basically if you don't hold down for the cross-hair, Jango will pick the two nearest enemies and dispatch them. You can also single out enemies. You get to use his helmet scanner to find out if someone has a Bounty, as well as your primary target. This secondary bounty system is what unlocks secrets. You get the jet pack part way through the first level, and it's good. You also have the lasso thingy to trap targets with.

It's a very good game. Later on i can inform you that you will have a chance to go up against Jedi. I saw a scene of Jango vs a Dark Jedi with Twin Dooku style sabers.... mmmmmmmmmmmm.

Well i hope they do to cause i for one will buy it. If the multiplayer is anything as good as JKII then it will certainly be on my games list for 2003 which already has...................................DOOM 3

Spring 2k3 ? Last time I checked the Lucasarts site, there was just the Playstation 2 logo.

But this will definately added to my collection as well (Doom is added by default )

Bad news, i checked with my official sources. Although Bounty Hunter was originally intended for PS2, NGC, and PC, the powers that be have decided to abandon the PC version. They feel that they can make better profit and aim their marketing more successfully if the game remains purely console based.

I'm sorry to let you down, but i have it on good authority that the decision was onloy finalised recently i.e. about four days ago. All work has now stopped on the port job.

Maybe i will download a good playstation 2 emulator then buy the game anyway. Before i do this though i will borrow some PS2 games from the library and make sure the emulator is good quality before spending money on the actual game.

I didn't know you can get PS2 emulators already. I didn't think the discs worked in a pc anyways?

They may work if you have a DVD drive, which i do and if not then you could always download the ROM file. I'm sure someone out there on Kazza or Grokster will have it.

I've got a dvd rom drive, so do i still neeed the emulator? Would i need to get a control pad, or do the emulators let you use the keyboard?

You will need the emulator software to either decode the cd or the rom file. Also you should be able to map joypad commands to the keyboard.
