please help with model importer

First off, I would like to thank all those helping us newbies. A great insperation to future modlers, card makers and TC creaters. Great site!

 

My problem.

 

I have created a cheesy Star Trek Battle Cruiser with 3ds Max 6, using a Nebulon-B Frigate to ensure scale.

 

I converted the file to BC.x with lithunwrap, and it previews just fine.

 

I have installed the model importer to, and the import folder :

G:\LucasArts\rebellion\model mod

G:\LucasArts\rebellion\model mod\import

respectively.

 

I run Model Importer and the log file shows:

 

(yah I know its 5am, but the wife is preggie and sleeps like a hungry tasmainian devil, I needed a hobby )

I assume all went well, so I run REBED and try view the new BC in the V2SD slot where I (hopefully) stored the BC.x file and get this error:

The game also crashes whenever I need to view the model.

 

So, I tried the manual way using Resouce Hacker, following the instructions from one of your many excellent tutorials, and got the same error.

 

I re-installed the game and tried it in reverse, same again.

 

I am certain it is something silly and simple, but if anyone has any help for a silly and simple, sleep deprived man, I would be gratefull.
