Which is your favorit SW game?

The Gameboy version of Yoda Stories, you have to do the scenarios in a particular order, and graphic are slightly better in PC.

I didn't think that there was any way to make the graphics better... that is, they were already so horrible that any change and it wouldn't have been Yoda Stories.

They had better colors for PC rather than the crappy Gameboy colors, but it's true if it hadn't hadd pathetic graphic it wouldn't have been Yoda Stories... Man I really miss that game.

Our prayers have been answered. You can download the program DOSBox from Clubic.com. This Emulator will emulate many games and works just great. Hope this will be usefull.

I was as delighted as you are. I had given up on typing "dos emulation" and I tried "emulateur dos"(same thing but in french) and there it was.

The only really problem I find to it is that it slows the games up too much.

I would imagine that if the game was designed to run in dos, it must be old enough that modern systems can run it no problem. I could be wrong though, since I don't have any dos games to test it out on. The closest thing I have is Red Alert, and it won't work despite the fact it was designed for Windows 95.

Sadly the only game on there that I want is not "abandonware". I remember the good old days of playing Blake Stone, zapping aliens, blowing two feet of body mass away from the security guards chests... ah the memories.

 

On he topic of games, today I purchaised Battlefront. In only 21 days it'll be mine, plus a free action-figure!

Does the action figure come with all copies or just if you pre-order them? Because Jedi Academy came with a free figurine (where'd I put that damn Rodian anyway ? ?) - or is it more like Tiberium Sun where you'd need to purchase a special version, like in this case pre-ordering it?

When I looked on Lucasarts.com it said something about receiving it with an action figure or a set of stamps (somthing like that) with the blasons of the different factions on them.

I think I'm most highly offended that you mostly listed the newest crap games as opposed to classics like:

 

TIE Fighter

X-Wing vs TIE Fighter

Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight

Rebellion (duh)

Rebel Assault 1/2

 

and even the "very good, though not classic" games such as:

X-Wing Alliance

Dark Forces

 

What you did list however, were lame console ports (with the exception of Battlegrounds and Galaxies, which sucked anyways).

 

Here are some other comments.. Galactic Conquest is a BF1942 mod, not a game. KotOR 2 isn't even out yet, how can it be my favorite (it'll suck though).

 

Ohh.. I get it now.. you accidentally mistyped "Which was the biggest disappointment" cause that's what my "worst Star Wars games" would be listed on.

 

In that case I'd have to vote on Galaxies since I had the highest hopes for it.
