jsug Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 I just tried to install SWR on XP and it didn't work. The autorun came up and everything, but when I click install nothing happens and then the autorun disappears.
0 Trejiuvanat Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 Did you try running it in the compatibility mode? http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
0 the_mask Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 Usually by right-clicking->properties... compatibility mode, but this shouldn't be needed.Did you try the setup/install.exe ? That's the program, that the autorun starts, if you click on the button. http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
0 jsug Posted June 7, 2004 Author Posted June 7, 2004 I tried clicking the setup/install.exe. It didn't work. I had to do that last time to get it to install to WindowsME.
0 the_mask Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Hmm, looks rather like a cd-error to me, if your system is running ok otherwise. You could try to install daemon tools and to mount a CD-Image of your Rebellion disc with that. Does your Rebellion disc have any deep scratches ? http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
