I tried installing SWR for XP and it didn't work

Question

I just tried to install SWR on XP and it didn't work. The autorun came up and everything, but when I click install nothing happens and then the autorun disappears. :(

Usually by right-clicking->properties... compatibility mode, but this shouldn't be needed.

Did you try the setup/install.exe ? That's the program, that the autorun starts, if you click on the button. :wink:

Hmm, looks rather like a cd-error to me, if your system is running ok otherwise.

You could try to install daemon tools and to mount a CD-Image of your Rebellion disc with that.

 

Does your Rebellion disc have any deep scratches ?
