Jahled Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 I am not a diehard fan, but.. ...do you guys all have Starwars pyamas and uniforms? Do you wear them when you go online to play Rebellion? or do you play naked, instead? or do I not want to maybe.. I reckon you've just got back from the pub and a moderator should quickly 'lock-up,' this dreadfull thread. No disrespect dude, but it borders on either revealing stuff about you I don't want to know your view of the rest of us or the clumsy finger work of one 'who has partaken in the mead...' http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
Gleem Posted June 2, 2004 Author Posted June 2, 2004 Like the thread says I am just curious.. Besides, I think this thread will probably go instict by itself, though.. ..UNLESS, there are a lot of people with interesting, wonderful, impossible-to-joke-about star wars-pyama's, offcourse. Then we could exchange star wars fashion tips maybe "When you take water and pour it into a cup, it BECOMES the cup. When you put the water in a bowl it becomes the bowl. Be smart, be like water my friend.."-Bruce Lee
Trejiuvanat Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 Nah, they don't make them my size... I mean... NO!!! http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
BadSamaritan Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 *looks around sheepishly* Yes, i do happen to have a complete Stormtrooper uniform. I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.
the_mask Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 I had two shirts with Darth Maul once, but they shrunk badly in the dryer, so ... A complete Stormy uniform ? Do they still cost 2000 bucks ? http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif

Gleem Posted June 3, 2004 Author Posted June 3, 2004 I don't have any starwars pyamas (..and I DO wear clothes when I play. GEEZZ ), but out of my fascination/sentiment for Star Wars I did buy 5 boxes of the collectable cardgame and I don't even know how to play!! I didn't care. It was Star Wars, and so that was enough reason to buy it, and keep buying it, somehow. "When you take water and pour it into a cup, it BECOMES the cup. LetTheWookieWin Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 (edited) I have one t-shirt with Yoda, two with Chewy, and one of the empire. I also have a tie with all the major star wars characters from the trilogy on it. No costumes though Also have star wars Monoply and Life games. A stormtrooper keychain. Every book that is not pre ANH. A Boba Fett license plate thing. Of course the movies and many games only computer ones though. Probably more just hard to think of at work. Edited June 4, 2004 by LetTheWookieWin Chewbacca: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrgh C-3PO: He made a fair move. Screaming about it can't help you. Han Solo: Let him have it. It's not wise to upset a Wookiee. C-3PO: But sir, nobody worries about upsetting a droid. Han Solo: That's 'cause droids don't pull people's arms out of their sockets when they lose. Wookiees are known to do that. Chewbacca: Grrf. C-3PO: I see your point, sir. I suggest a new strategy, R2: let the Wookiee win.

Thumper Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 Random SW t-shirts, couple handfuls of novels, RPG books, all the Rogue Squadron comics, handful of PC games, I might have an Atari game somewhere, some model kits, and a few handfuls of action figures. I have an "X-wing Fighter Captain" hat that I wear everywhere, and I've gotten more than one "Oh, you're a fighter pilot?" questions. I've got some artwork, too. As for costumes, well...X-wing pilotRebel Fleet trooperNew Republic Dress Uniform (from comics) (I've been costuming for almost three years now.) I bought a stuffed Ewok with the intentions of making a Lt. Kettch costume (from the Wraith Squadron books), but that idea has been abandoned.Last year I bought an X-wing Hoth jacket from the site Mad78 linked to previously. (It looks like the same site, anyway.) I only wear the costumes for conventions and other events with the costuming group (charities and whatnot). I tried wearing my X-wing helmet once while playing Rogue Squadron just to see what it was like, but man, that was hard! That's all I can think of offhand. -Thumper TIE pilots shake at the sound of my name! ...Hey, wait! You're not supposed to be shaking with laughter! Which way did they go? How many of them were there? How fast were they going? I must find them! I am their LEADER!
Jahled Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 Well i've got one thing worth more than all the material things in the SW world; being taught economics for a year by a teacher called John Walker who taught Mark Hammel, Alec Guiness, green-cross code man (Darth Vader) and Harrison Ford fencing for the original movie... He represented the UK in the olympics and was involved in the production in the original movie.... He failed to teach me much about economics though... Harrison Ford Yeah, that was my first question to him, but even in the film's development GL was apparently still toying with the idea of Han Solo wielding a lightsaber.... http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
