Mad78 Posted June 15, 2004 Author Posted June 15, 2004 It isn't made to. It was designed to attack cxapital ships from what I understand. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
ADarkJedi44 Posted June 15, 2004 Posted June 15, 2004 I don't think the E-wing was specifically meant to attack capitol ships. I think it was designed to eventually replace the X-wing Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
Mad78 Posted June 16, 2004 Author Posted June 16, 2004 I think the X-Wing is more adapted against fighters. OOC:What is your age by the way? http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
ADarkJedi44 Posted June 17, 2004 Posted June 17, 2004 They were both pretty versatile.... OOC: Between 10 and 20! Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
mawshiye Posted June 17, 2004 Posted June 17, 2004 I think the Defender is the best fighter statistically, but I think that the coolest fighter would have to be the Chiss Clawcraft. They just look cool. Not to mention being fast and maneuverable.
Krytos Posted June 17, 2004 Posted June 17, 2004 Personaly, I think the E-Wing is a much better anti-fighter starfight, whereas the X-Wing is the best all-rounder. Then there's the K-Wing, which is the NR bomber, B-Wing is an Assault fighter and the A-Wing an interceptor, though its also got a lot of jamming equipment.Did I leave any out? Oh, and does anyone have any info on the Deathraven? Like, it's obviously created from the B-Wing - but who uses it and weapons does it have http://www.wizards.com/starwars/images/deathraven.jpg http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif

Krytos Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 I got the pic and name from Wizards of the Cost a while back when they were releasing images from the RPGs - they had other pics like of the Bothan Assault Cruiser and Defender class Star Destroyer. I've already had a search for it and turned up nothing, was kinda hoping someone had heard of it Oh well, back to the searching then http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif
BadSamaritan Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 The deathraven Is technically an Ugly, it is built from the hulls of two seperate B-wings. They are supposed to be farely common, due to the fact that b-wings are a pain to maintain. The NR scrapped so many of them that people just startet buying them up in whole squadrons. If my memory serves me right, The most famous use of them was by a merc squadron during the thrawn campaign. They have a horrid amount of firepower, and cant theoretically take on small capitol ships one on one. But, due to the fact that they are built from scrap, they are even harder to maintain then the normal b-wing, and therefor an expensive venture to invest in, but worth every cred you sink into them. I think the standard weapons on them are six laser cannons, thee light ion cannons, and four torp launchers, giving them more than enough fireposer to deal with larger, slower targets. But when it comes to uglies, the deathseed or clutch are the two to worry about the most. Deathseedhttp://www.starwars.ow.pl/sluis/dbase/mcrc/u-dtsd.gif[/img] I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.
Krytos Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 Thanks BadSamaritan. From the pic I've got, it definitely looked powerful. I've never been a fan of uglies before - but I think I'll make an exception here Hmm Deathseed - obviously a mix between an X-Wing and TIE, wats a clutch a mix of? http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif

ADarkJedi44 Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 Ugly. The deathraven you mention, hmmm it was a twi'lek during the X-wing series that used one of those.. Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
BadSamaritan Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 The X-winf series? Check your memory backups there jedi, deathseeds were in the x-wing series, not deathravens. And cluthces are a cross between a tie cockpit, and...... um......... some scrap metal basically. I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.
ADarkJedi44 Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 I remember, hmm, well there's the part where Wedge goes to Ryloth to get the spice or whatever to make the bacta stronger. He meets a twi'lek there who has an ugly which I think someway involves B-wings Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
BadSamaritan Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 No, they were deathseeds. The reason why you are thinking they involved b-wings is because of the cockpit setup. Like the b-wing, the cockpit of the deathseed is set up on a ring sytem so the s-foils of the starfighter rotate around the cockpit, making it easier to pilot. God, im a nerd!!! *breaks down and cries* I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.

I know we're all nerds here, but...I can't believe you find this THAT interesting! These last few hours have made me realize that I need some kind of hobby.
