Maybe we'll get Eville to have the minelaying action icon disabled, because I don't think anything actually lays mines.. Krytos Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 The Assault Transport can lay mines - though you need to lay a lot, which seems to slow the game down a lot. Hale Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 So I can't play any of the Warlords maps, I just get a pure white screen. The HUD is there and it works fine, but I cannot see any of the actual gameplay, it's all white. I read the FAQ to see what I could learn, and it mentioned something about putting my maps in a different file, but that hasn't worked. Any ideas?

JanGaarni Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 This is probably an old issue and probably posted before, but I'll post it again, cause it's my only beef with the Mod really. Fighters - it's a pain in the ass to try and dock them inside star destroyers and other hangar capable ships (seems the support carrier is the most difficult one I've tried, don't make them anymore, ain't worth the resources ) and installations for when I want to do a quick get away, or a quick mobilization of my forces before I jump into/out of combat. 1 and 1 fighter wing is ok, usually no problem, but when I try to dock for instance the full load a star destroyer can carry at once, then it most of the time hangs. Not the game, the game can still be played, the fighters just don't dock, they just line up in preperation to dock (sometimes they swirl around the ship too trying to line up). Another small thing - The Enforcer Class is stated to carry 4 fighter wings, but it only takes 2. Other than that, great Mod. Excellent realisation of Star Wars spacebattles. Ivan_R Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 the docking issue is more to with the fighters lining up correctly to dock - the Escort CV is a pain because the fighters dock at the front, but it is one of the easier platforms to dock with in reality. the best advice for docking is to put the fighters on defensive/passive stance, as aggressive seems to muck about the docking sequence, and then dock a few Sqns at a time - this can be annoying, especially if you have all your bombers say as Group 2. My other piece of advice (after much experimentation at work ) is to not dock like units in the same carrier vessel - ie split up the distribution of carried smallcraft. For example, carry 4 fighters, four bombers and four Assault transports in an ISD, rather than 12 of each. The more you have of one thing trying to dock, the more pain you're going to go through. as for the VSD, make sure Concussion Missiles II or III has been researched as well. If they're researched first, the VSD I becomes available at the same time as the II. The VSD II just uses easier to research components.
krackers87 Posted July 31, 2005 Posted July 31, 2005 Im getting alot of problems where in player vs cpu i'll have RU injections turned on. (25,000 every 2 minutes, 100,000 2 min Lump)and i'll start queing up ships on multiple production facilities and my RU will alll of a suddden drop to 0.

willhart Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Hey EvilleJedi, I just wanted to say how much I love your mod. I read on the homepage that you're trying to battle the evil Sync issue. Me and my friend have been trying to play the game(Warlords .45) in multiplayer across the internet and he keeps getting kicked out of the game and it says "Out of Sync". Is this the out of sync issue you're trying to fix? I saw some other people post about it, but I never saw it being answered. Also is anyone successfully playing the game in Multiplayer over the internet and not ever getting an "Out of Sync" error and the other person gets kicked out? Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.Thanks

It will load, and right when it finishes, the game just stops and sends me back to my desktop.Any ideas?P.S. I have not installed the 1.1 update - it stopped halfway through, and playing in normal deathmatch mode works just fine. I'll see if it still crashes after the update is installed and get back to you guys.Billy Bob

After a couple of minutes in game my machine suffered a system crash. We attempted this several times with the same result. Could this be due to some sort of sync issue? Naga Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 My friend and I were attempting an LAN game. We both have .499997 (or whatever it is called )from curseuppl.com and the 1.1 patch. All was going fine, but after about 10 min utes, he (not me) gets kicked out of the server for having an incorrect game version. Both of us used the same CD to start the game. What could the problem be?

To install the files, do this. Uninstall Homeworld 2, then reinstall (make sure to turn off any firewall you are running as some interfere with the installer), then when you have finished reinstalling click on register game online. Do this at the end of installing as doing it later the update patch dose not recognise it, it is stupid but its just one of those things. Once this is done, install the patch. It should load correctly now. Now this solution is for those with the retail version of Homeworld 2. I do not help those too cheap to buy the game. It dosen't cost all that much anyway.

Crash happened at:Player vs CPUCoruscant Orbit Map2 CPU players (Alliance & Militia)Player as Imperial simulation had just started ..I started up a little research, and a few Tie FIghterswas moving my Mobile refinery and X-7 Factory closer to resources and suddenly everything froze for about 1 minute and then my computer rebooted there was no logfile in the HW foldersI'm running an Athalon 2400 w/ 1.25GB RAM dunno if any of this helps .. just wanted to be able to bring you guys any information to help make hte MOD run better ... Great Work guys .. just let me know what important information to report to help fix bugs & crashes

I too do experience the "white screen"when i am playing MP and take the Alliance/Militia my game screen turns completely white;the only thing you can see is the HUD and the menu... whats wrong (and yes ive got patch 1.1installed)(graphic card is Gforce IV MX) greets nikolaia Ps.:Still I think this is the greatest mod ever done!!!
