Chiss Ships

The Clawcraft is well known, but does anyone know anything about their capital ships or where I could get that info?

 

I've heard a few references to the bloodfire

on the web, but do not recall seeing it in the comics or novels.

 

Is the bloodfire legit? I had to redo my TC (a bug wiped out a lot... and I wanted to improve my existing models) and I'm thinking of including it to give it more of a Chiss-feel.

Actually, I don't know. I'm reading "Remnant" right now and the team hasn't yet arrived in the unknown regions

 

The bloodfire isn't listed in the CUSWE, but the design on the NJO project's page is definately a cool vessel. The design varies from the other StarWars ships, so that it really could've originated from the Chiss.

I'd include it, just for the sake of having another great model for Rebellion

There is very little known about Chiss capital vessels. The ones I know of are the ones which Thrawn used for destroying the Outbound Flight.

About a week ago the latest Zahn book was released. It deals with the Outbound Flight and the Chiss just before NJO. I suppose you might find some Chiss vessels there.

There are the Imperial-Chiss vessels, like the Clawcraft and the other ships that were in the hangar of the Hand of Thrawn.

There is very little known about the Chiss, however, my sources tell me this is going to change in terms of books. I can't say more, except for.. "The NJO is almost done now, where else is there to go...?". I quote my 'contact'. I don't know if the next set of books will be dealing with this, but certainly the implication and noises in the business say keep your eyes open over the next five or so years.

My contact was talking about the timelinear continuation of the saga. They may very well do KOTOR books, but that asn't what i was talking to him about.

Well... I've finished the model. It's my 4th from scratch for this darned TC, so I can't say I slaved over it Especailly since I tried also pairing down the Eclipse and Sovereign to under 10k to see if I could get them to work in tactical mode.

 

That's 6 ship model edits!

 

I'm getting tired of editing polygons... I wanna play my game!

 

Now I just have to get a website to put all this junk up for the rest of you.

 

I have an idea for 2 more chiss ships... Ones that are interesting visually and tactically. I may make a sequel and put them in it... I have a fun idea for the sequel, but we'll see if I get the time!
