So, I was playing the game and thought "I want my star destroyers toting the seal of the Galactic Empire" so I set about creating an SOGE logos set.

 

There are 14 logos I've included in the pack so far. These include (in order from left-to-right on the second sample below):

Lovely! I tried to hack it myself, but I'm not experienced enough with alpha channels

Yeah, the alpha channel is always fun, particularly when you're trying to do the small faction icons that are only 14x14 and the resizing has "dithered" the edges.

 

That being said, I was thinking I might make a couple more logo files. One with just criminal organisation logos in it that the NPC "factions" can use (ie. pirates and the NPC defenders of unclaimed planets).

we are looking at releasing at the end of the week, Evaders is going to give you commit access to the SVN so feel free to upload all of your interface and icon work. one thing that has been really bugging me is the smallhud icons i nthe empire tree, just can't get them straightened out.

I was going to have a look at the empire tree icons this weekend. In another city all week this week for work (which I am every second week), but will see what I can come up with on the weekend for you.

 

I will commit my changes Friday night (Aus time) which should be stupidly early Friday morning (US time) if that's cool.

Ok, I've committed my stuff...was pretty careful, so hopefully didn't undo any changes others had done when conflicts occurred.

Looks like something has gone wrong as Sins now stops responding with my checkin.

So, checked in is the new race logos and hud images for all four factions.

 

The only unit that currently does not have a HUD image is the Y-wing because that it still looks like it is using the B-wing mesh.
