August 17, 200917 yr hi, i've just recently downloaded this game, and downloaded this Mod ( big star wars fan ), but i'm having trouble loading the mod. i've tried loading it with 1.03, and 1.05, i install it into C:\Documents and settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods folder, ( the readme says that there is a \\ path after mods, but i dont have those folders in there. it lets me launch the game, i go to options, mod, mod shows up, i select and click enable, and the game crashes, and i get a C++ error ( Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library, to be exact) its a Runtime Error!program .... Game\Sins of a Solar Empire\Sins of a Solar Empire.exe my first time playing around with this game, any ideas?
August 17, 200917 yr SWR Staff - Executive SOGE version 0.90 requires Sins 1.15 or higher. It is not Entrenchment compatible. August 17, 200917 yr SWR Staff - Executive More or less, its a mini-expansion that adds starbases. You do not need it to run play SOGE (though many other mods may use it). Eventually there will be an Entrenchment version of SOGE, but the plan is to keep both a vanilla Sins and Entrenchment option.
