I found a model of the Pillar of Autumn from Halo on the internet, and I need someone with 3DS Max to convert it for me, because  my version of Maya can't open MAX files. If you could rig it too, that'd be nice, but you don't have to.

 

P.S. I have the "Learning Edition" of Maya, so I can't get plugins.

What types can you import? 3ds? Obj?

Odd file formats, eh? Thats all. No OBJ or 3ds.

Ok, I've exported it as a fbx file. It imports fine back into max, but I have no experience with Maya or if it will import properly.

 

No textures are included. I'd rig it but I have too much other stuff I need to be rigging. lol
