In the end I chose Revenge of the Sith for its great job in connecting all of the movies together along with the great lightsaber duels and the music "Battle of Heroes" Protecting the world from those who have an IQ higher than 30! I'd say ANH. The effects weren't really flashy, but they were remarkable for the time. It revived the special effects industry after it had been abandoned in the 60s. It has a real classic feel to it; and contains the famous Star Destroyer chase. And it was closest to what George Lucas wanted: A B film with cutting edge effects (i.e.: Flash Gordon in 3D animation). "We all knew it [star wars] would be a success.
