heres a list of new colors, ill keep it short for all. just download readme, but if you want to, try using the added hardpoints xml and projectile xml

 

only use the provided .xmls below if you are puting it in EAW, not for EAW:Foc, but you can add the projectiles description to an extracted FOC Projectile File by copy and paste. simple as that

Yes a screen shot would be a good idea 

its like a red laser bolt but, when switched, theres little white on the inside and then thers blue on the outside, same for purple and orange

 

if you have the alamo object veiwer, which has the site posted in one forum, just use that and then Eaw extractor, put that in gamedata with the alamo and then extract the W_smalllaser(drag down, when you see W_ then slowly search for W_Laser_pill, or something like that and select it and then right click and press extract selected.) then make a subfolder called textures in the ART folder, place the extracted file and look at it. thats what all basic lasers look like

It's doable.

yes it is possible, the jedi actually use them if you check the coding.

This is actually really cool. It definitely gives the lasers a movie-like feel. Good show!

How do you make purple projectiles?

The whole laser color changing thing with modeled lasers didn't work. Had to revert to turbolaser RGBAs.

Thats what I did for my purple...can someone clarify as to WHICH model the texture slot works with? I haven't been able to get anything but red or green.

I figured it out.

 

The texture slot is 1,1. I figured it out because 0,1 is blue, and 1,0 is red. So 1,1, must be purple.

That would be much appriciated...sincet hat I changed all my Consortium Lasers to purple (looks better with the engines)...the lasercannons always looked iffy from being mini turbolasers...

Did you just make it like a muzzle flash or did you model it?

muzzle flash type, like the other EaW lasers..

 

Easier to UVW.

I've personally found it easier to model it. It also looks better ingame to me.

Actually, you don't need models to make lasers. That would be a perfect muzzle flash, but it would still appear a different color as a projectile. Changing the 'texture slot' of your projectile to 1,1 will make it purple.

That's odd...I used 1,1 on a red laser, and it was purple
