Well i was wondering is thier a way to stop models from getting lesser quality when zooming out? I made a personal rescale mod and it has the infantry as fairly tiny the problem is they start too look realy bad after zooming out to about middle height.

Import them, take away their low quality LOD's, then reexport...which is a pain in the neck, lol. And you'd have to make new anims.

 

There might be a function in the camera xmls that tells it when to switch LODs, but if not then it's probably hard-coded and the only way to stop it would be to make all the LODs the same.

So basicly what u are saying is the only feasable way to do this is to return them to their normal size?

If you don't want to do the work or know someone willing to do it, probably, lol...

And then id have to rescale everything else upward

hmm i geuss ill wait for a rescale mod as in rescaleing every ground thing would be a pain.

 

okay i have another question how would i get it so black is one of the skirmish colors?

 

also cani have 2 of the same type of skirmish colors in the skirmish color selection  box?

Yes. In Gameconstants.xml there are entries called R, G, B *color name*>. The numerical values for R, G, and B determine the color. I've tried adding more color entries, but it didn't work. You could edit the existing entries however. Changing the RGB entries to 0 will make the color black.

Coll ill mess around with this as in i want my faction to have the correct color and my ai to have the same color as me it sorta looks weird when my imperial friends are green and i am blue lol.
