I've just started modding EaW and I find it more complicated than the way I modded C&C Generals, I was able to export some models with textures to the Alo format but my problem is: How do I enable the muzzle flashes? I have followed the instructions in using the fx files (Shaders...etc..) but I havent come across any instruction on how to enble the damn muzzle flashes. I can see my tanks and mech's firing their weapons with the projectiles coming out from the barrels in the proper way. But no muzzle flashes appear... I know the other processes: Link to bone etc...etc... but enabling the muzzle flashes remains a problem.. thanks for any help....
November 7, 200619 yr Muzzle flashes arn't that important...... I'm not a modeler, but I think you just make them a seperate mesh, then some how make them activate with the animations.......Or maybe if you name them the right thing, they'll activate with the shots..... :o YOU'VE EXPORTED GROUND UNITS TO .ALO!!??
