Since tEB is bugged, I decided to make a mini-mod. It's gonna add a lot of changes to the infantry. I created an awsome repeater squad for it! They has Navytroopers, and one Chain gun-dude. I'm also gonna add shotgunners.

A field com. squad is right next to it, so you can compare the Field Commander to the Navytrooper.

If it was something I could simply describe to you, I wouldn't give a crap. It won't even let the game start. I say "now, I want a nice, relaxing, GC! With my mod!" Then I start up the game, and

DA DONK!!!!!!!!!

An 'exeption' has occured.

2. does the exception happen to say anything about "text.logfile"?

 

If number 2 is true, you may be missing a .dll or .txt file*.

 

*if you replaced a .txt from a mod with the orignial, but kept .XML files that use it, then that may be the source of your problem.

It's with the infantry mod's XMLs, and another with tEB's XMLs.

I use .BAT mod files, its nothing wrong with the standard override.

If you post your work, we may help you to find the bug and fix it.

I will for sure help as those adds are some of my target for EAW apart from other mods.So I would help you for sure as much as I can.

Please calm down I am trying 'we are all' trying to help you I am not some stupid kid with xml coding either I am pretty good at finding bugs. AND you just DID describe your problem 1) game does not load on startup.

 

What was the last edits you made to your xml files THINK. Then think what files they were in that you were messing around with. what ever you have changed in the code it didn't like it. a mispelt word a bracket in the wrong place - a slash the wrong way around.. anything like that,.

 

Garunteed its always down to the last thing you did that screws the game. Its normally because of an error in the xml code.

 

We have been talking about a new XML editor from Microsoft which could help you to debug the game.
