Ya use Imageshack, photobucket,Freewebs, or your own hosting that you pay for to host your avatar and link it in your profile. Anything like Angelfire, imagedump, Tripod, geocities sucks since they prevent hot-linking images  ::)

Hope that helps like AT-AT said it since thats how most of us have our avatars up.

bleah, still broken  :P I wish I could use photo bucket but that is blocked  :P Imageshack isn't but I'm still trying to figure out how to use it.  :-\

You'd think that, wouldn't you .. :)

I've tried several times with no success, it maybe something in the code for SMF 1.1 RC3, so I'm awaiting a solution on their forums.

I have looked into the set up and there was an extra "/" for the avatar directory. I removed it however it still did not work. I crossed referenced the file path with the attachments and made sure they were the same. However I had no luck. I can only guess that the "Chmod" for both directories has been set incorrectly. Since I don’t have direct server access I can't fix it. The domain owner needs to reset it again. I assume this was a result of the recent domain restore that happened.

Check the DB Size.  last Time I checked it was around 50 MB.  And we had used 49MB...  I think we may have filled up the Directory.

There's no limit on the database size. There maybe something within SMF admin panel that controls how much file space is set off for attachments?

CHMOD is correct, it has been set to 777 and it is writable by other scripts. So it is something with SMF
