Is there a picutre of the galactic map With a coordinate grid anywhere? to help on positioning planets and new planets. Thanks

The coords are ez to figure out. First number is left or right of center. "+" being left "-" being right. The second # is vertical from center. "+" being up and "-" being down. Use your current planets as a guide if you want.

how large are the grid sqaures? in pixels?

Im not sure exactly. However the scale of the galaxy matters. However I'm not sure what default is. I did alot of experimentation. I mod the planet.xml and the SinglePlayer_Campaign.xml with the game running.. then I restart the campaign then I can see what my adustments did.

This is a little "map" with existing planets and their coordinates (X,Y), hope it helps a bit in placing new planets for new modders

Its easy to add new planets with this, but sometimes you have to move the new planet around a bit but it gives you general idea about where to place them.

 

Btw, anyone know why are my new hyperspace route working ? when i add them into campaign file ? :/
