I've been wondering why skirmish will only allow up to 4 players total in game (me and 3 AIs). I know from some screenies (my MP won;t work ) that many of the maps support 6 and 8 players, but all my skirmish maps (including the bonus ones) only allow up to 4. Is this supposed to be like this?

 

This is with the latest patch (didn't try with older ones due to time).

The game is limited to 3 AI players.  Not entirely sure why, but it is.  Multiplayer battles can have up to 8, though I have only gotten one game to work with more than 4.

it also depends onthe size of the map there are some maps that alow 9 players and 1-5
