i was thinking there was to be a way around the xml folder system as that replaces files and as such mods wouldnt work online, as such there has to be either  a directory system or a way to store them maybe .meg's but then i dont see any way to chose between mods, anyone have an idea?

You could just rename or move the XML folder, causing it to not affect the game.

yea...but then it wont work online, as everyone has to have the same folder etc.
