i am very NOT inept about modding and have no knowledge bout it, but is it possible to mod the game where you can control a fighter or something of the like while in space combat?

Not like in Battlefront 2, if thats what your thinking. You can: increase the size of a fighter squadron, and edit it so that there is only one fighter, and bolster its stats. When the full game comes out, and an importer/exporter is created you'll even be able to change the colors of your vessel, or edit it so that the vessel is one of a kind.

As in Star Wars Battlefront style ?  ??? In my mind its very unlikely but if it could be done the game would be very very buggy  ??? Donno if we could give it a Bridge Commander view from a Star Destroyer or any ship but I doubt it also.

i wish they would just make  another x-wing vs. tie fighter with current graphics and much more happening at once. like more capital ships per battle and more fighters at one time....and less worthless go capture the floating box missions

I agree, but as far as they are concerned that is BF2, which it is't, but hey.

Plus they would make an ACR-170 vs Droid fighter, what with EPIII and all that jazz

i did not mean like bf2... i just meant putting a 3rd person view on the ship, then controlling it, when it died, the screen goes back to normal mode

 

 

like cine mode, you just move the ship in the mode

um, you move the camara in cine mode

im not askin if you can move the ships

im askin if its able to be modded in the game

Sadly you cannot do that.  You can change the Position to be in a Chase View but that is it.

i was thinkin not  :'(  because if it could be done, im sure it would already have been
