January 26, 200620 yr Mh, could be possibe but this would also require a lot more hitpoints for ground units. And a new model for every ground unit I think... http://www.pexsus.com/~littleb/eaw/banner_eaw.jpgFeel the ForceIRC (QuakeNet): #empireatwar
January 26, 200620 yr Probably could be done, if you're willing to take the time to do all that work. http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/RyuuKageSIG.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/AoSW-JCW_Banner.jpg
January 26, 200620 yr i was thinking about vehicles only, not worth it for infantry but like at-at's and stuff!
January 26, 200620 yr Author well buildings.... . :/ but think about it.. taking out the treads or legs of vehicles http://www.swgbex.com/sig.jpgHehe IA 2 venator
January 26, 200620 yr but think about it.. taking out the treads or legs of vehicles It begins... "Kool-aid is a pathway to some abilities many would consider to be... unnatural"
January 27, 200620 yr *Stellar Smirks* Actually the turreted ground vehicles already use hardpointing, its just not damagable. They work the same way that the hardpoints on the Corellian Corvettes work. January 27, 200620 yr Author wait.. does this game make every turret a hard point.. and the source of the engine as hard points.. in generals u defined stuff like that with a small diamond shaped bone. whos name corresponded to its use... normally . if so.. hardpoints might not be hard at all to make.. ... just enabling it to show it on ground battles.. hmm http://www.swgbex.com/sig.jpgHehe IA 2 venator
January 27, 200620 yr You need a model for each hitpoint plus the overall unit. I think the unit entries are generic enough that they can be applied to ground units. I am also fairly certain that if the Corvettes use hard points, they are defined in a completely different way than large capital ships. Zing!
