Those who have now experienced the demonstration of it should now understand how the damage stuff works. So, can soldiers stand up to several volleys of AT-ST and AT-AT fire or not, do we know?

Stormtroopers stood up to my Rebellion tank (The unlocked one) and the AT-AT so yes for a limited time. They can take like 3-5 shots from a tank which is just off but at least they dont die like ants  ;D

They do if you just Tank Shock them...Thank you Warhammer 40'000  

run over infantary with veichals, it flatens them stright away (all veiches work except speeders)

Yes, and another thing that I noticed is that the vehicles' shots don't hit 100% of the time.  There is some missing going on as should be expected.  This is kind of like the space battles and I am very happy that they did this.

I like the fact that some shots miss it is what makes the game more interesting but i hate the fact on the modded version that the T2-b does more damage to a 'pod walker' (looks more like a T4-b but it says pod walker on the Battle stat thing at the end of the battle...) than a T4-b using rockets and with the upgrade!

Delphi has said that the demo and units we got is from a December build.  They have been doing nothing but polishing and balancing for this month so expect to see some differences to unit interactions in the full game.
