Well there is a slim chance anyone will respond, but here it goes:

 

If you preorder the game from EBgames, Gamestop, or other online retailers you get a beta key for the closed beta, which launches this week. I was wondering who all has preordered or is interested in preordering this game and will get to participate in the beta event. Maybe we can play together some time?

Well I will pre-order it because this one seems to have 5 things I like

 

1) Create a hero

2) Dragons

3) You place your buildings

4) GBen told me about those tunnels the dwarves use for suprise attacks.

5) Naval

 

Sadly I respond to many threads but I am getting this game and playing in beta. Also getting Battlefront 2 while I pre-order also.

YEAH!!!!!!!! I might get it! The first game's campaign was good, but everything else was bad!

Got the Beta Key and now going to download the beta. I also got Battlefront 2

 

edit: Damn the Goblins over power the Dwarfs and thats the only two teams in there. Unbalanced and yes this is a beta but still this is way unbalanced. Yes i'm new to this but well the dragon took out my whole army and I had an army trying to kill Garbageben but well Goblins killed me again.

Ghostly and I played a sandbox game that was a ton of fun. We would have posted screens if we could, but I believe that as beta testers we are not allowed to post them (part of the agreement I think). Anyways the game can be pretty fun.

Well i'm being stubborn and looking if we can or not. Trying to also find a feedback link.

I wouldn't mind playing the demo, but then I'd feel bad for taking your number.

 

But if someone could gives some pros and cons about playing the beta that would be cool, since I'm likely to get it when it comes out and just want some honest opinions.

I love the LOTR setting.I am interested in the War of the ring mode, any news about it?.

If that is good,i might take a look at this game closer.

its ok...but nothing as good as this game since its a huge zerg rush (max pop size 1000)

Fileplanet now has the beta for download.  Unfortunately it's only for subscribers, but if anyone who didn't pre-order and does have a subscription can now play it.

 

Not being a subscriber I guess I still have to wait for the real thing.  ;D

They (EA) said there will be a sp demo some time before launch so everyone will get a chance to try it out.  I thought the beta was meh because there were only 2 maps for the longest time (which were very boring).  I do admit that it is better than the original though.
