Traps?

Featured Replies

what would you think of a trap-function in space?

i think about the battle of endor, imagine you are the empirefaction and the rebels attack, they seems to be winning and then from the backside of the planet other ships come fighting for you :D

When i think of traps i think of an Interdictor yanking a fleeet out of Hyperspace and then pounding then to scratch with my Imperials

yeah, that would be nice....

or something else would be: the other is spying out a planet and brings fleetinformations back, but these informations are wanted, so they attack with a little or middle fleet and will be destroyed from my big waiting fleet :D

You could do all this in Rebellion/Supremacy which made the game totally awesome. Sitting back waiting for your poor opponent to arrive, not knowing what you have waiting for them.

Judging by some of the topics I have read and images I have seen, I think spying/espionage will be part of the game but probably using heroes. Either way, lets hope so because it would really make for the ultimate strategy war game

Have a fleet waiting at a planet you know one of your enemies fleet is going to, but they dont know you are there. Make sure your fleet has an Interdictor in it, and then when they arrive you get the fun of killing them off one by one as they helplessly try to escape... ahh that was such a good game.

Why not try the Endor trick? I am sure that could work or hide your fleet on one side of the planet.

In galactic map one of the vidios showed one fleet on one side of the planet and another fleet on the other side.

Evacuate, in our moment of triumph. I think you overestimate their chances. :)
