If these are a lot of days there is no need to hurry

I think we'll be seeing more and more of new pics, trailers and whatnot, the closer we get to the game and the demo.

I don't think we'll get a new one. The old one was released with the Ep3 dvd, which suggests it's their final version. I'm not holding out for a new trailer, because it does seem unlikely in my opinion.

 

EDIT: Something weird is going on here. Earlier it wouldn't let me post, and now it sticks my post in the centre of the topic. Bizarre.

Expect a number of Magazines to have SW themes in the near future. There will be some sort of Press Release I am sure in the near future as the demo is released.

Next month (November) maybe? Maybe it would be how to play the game type thing like what can hardpoints do maybe ?

Well, I hope soon, EaW will be a great game, but Petroglyph, or Lucas arts are too slow putting new information and-/or trailers......I want to know everything of EaW, because the game is in stores in 109 days......THATS A LOT!!!!!

I don't think what Eduardo is asking for is an "Official Trailer", but rather more videos of gameplay. I think we would all agree, but I think from the developers' perspective, they have to be even more careful with this rabid bunch (myself included). We set off a firebomb that is still smoking when we learned of the SSD being off the list and getting the facts on the intended timeline. They have to know that we will analyze, pick apart, etc anything we possibly get our hands on. Just look through some of the post in this forum and you can find discussion about minute details of almost every piece of media that has been released about this game. They know that they are under the microscope on this one and we have already shown that we are an extremely knowledgable bunch (not necessarily well spelled though ). I am thinking that the chat will give us the next batch of topics that we are craving right now.

I agree with you Teradyn on that one. People have to realize that Devs can't always follow true Star Wars lore. If they did there will be to much management for the player. The game would be huge and take too long to develope. Like my boss always say's Keep it Simple Stupid. There is alot of people that do know alot about Star Wars in here, but should realize that its just a game. Don't get your hopes up. This will be a great game when its released. Even if it doesn't have what you expect.

The key for us realism fanatics will be the moddability, so we can fix things.

I remember when I got Battlefield 1942 and played it a lot. Great game, but I wanted more tanks and armored combat. Lo and behold, mods like Forgotten Hope (play it, it's good!) come along and add greatly to the game, I'd even go so far as to say they made it a completely new and more enjoyable game!

 

However, judging by what I've seen so far, Petroglyph already did so much from the start, I don't think there'll be alot to add or change once the game is out. So that goes to their credit. Anything additional will only be for us hardcore realism/detail nuts, like Teradyn said.

It would be nice for petro (or should i say Lucas Arts?) to release more EaW content on Nov. 1st. I mean it's like Star Wars day lol. So much is coming out then.

OMG star wars day, what a good idea WE NEED TO WRITE THE LEADERS OF THE WORLD AND DEMAND THAT ALL PEOPLE GET OFF WORK/SCHOOL FOR STAR WARS DAY it will be on the first monday of november! YAY STAR WARS DAY!!! ^(^_^)^ it will be MANDATORY for all people to watch the whole star wars movie thingy all at once!!!!!! YAY PEOPLE WHO WATCH EPISODES 1-6 IN ONE SITTING!!!

Unfortunately this is out of Petro hands. I do know that Lucas PR has some good stuff in the works, so it shouldn't be long.
