The game randomly quits while a scenario is running. Nothing that I do seems to trigger this, it just does it every now and then. It always seems to quit a decent way into the scenario, soon after I start producing destroyers and such. Any help would be appreciated!

what gfx cards, memory, processor etc?

remember Warlords is a *lot* more resource hungry than stock HW2, so if you're running at the edges you may have stability issues.

My processor is a Pentium IV, and my GFX card is an NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420. Not being the most computer literate, I'm not sure what you mean by 'memory'. There are several different measurements, but my C: drive has 33.7 GB, although I'm not sure if that's what you're asking.

Also, sometimes when I'm trying to save my games so that this isn't such a big problem, it tells me that I haven't inserted the HW2 disk, even though I have, and then closes. Is this just another manifestation of my computer being a bit too old/slow?

I think Ivan_R meant how much RAM do you have... That's important thing when it comes to this game and mod in particular...

I have 261,392 KB of RAM.

low RAM might be the issue - stock HW2 needs at least 256MB, but recommends 512MB.

Warlords will probably run on 512MB, but 256 is probably too low. Hell, I had issues with it running 768MB...

my suggestion is to fork out for some extra RAM - it's fairly cheap for a single stick of 512MB, and it'll save you some hassle in the long run. With everything - not just Warlords :)

Sounds like a plan, thank you.
