August 9, 200521 yr Have you heard about this yet? It seems like a really cool show. I'm not really sure what it's about but I love Rome. Does anyone know what the deal with this is? August 10, 200521 yr From the cast: Indira Varma ("Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love") Well, yes, I am getting an idea, what kind of show this might be. However, I am quite sure, it will be quite a while, until they will show this Rome over here. So, perhaps you might tell us, if it is worth waiting or this thing, after you watched it. All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him. (Sun Tsu - The Art of War)
August 10, 200521 yr Author I'll be sure to let ya know. I hope it has a deal of fighting. Some one, I don't remember who, told me this would be like Gladiator. "Someday, somebody will best me. August 12, 200521 yr It will take even more to get here to the tropics. But again, I don't like most things related to the Roman empire... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
August 12, 200521 yr Is it a fundemental objection to their policies, a dislike of the time period or just one of those irrational hatreds that we all have? I've just remembered i've got a signature!
August 12, 200521 yr The first more than anything, reminds me of everyday's politics. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
August 15, 200521 yr Author I like Roman history because it reminds me of how the Galactic Empire came. At first they were a strong Republic at war with a senate. Then the Ceaser decided they would change into a Empire. They still had a senate even though the Emperor controled everything. "Someday, somebody will best me. But it's not today, and it's not you"-DDhttp://members.w-link.net/~imperatrix/images/thrawn3.jpgGrand Admirl ThrawnVersed in the Art of War
