Well the Federation had no chance against the Borg as they were originally shown in "Q Who", I suppose the question must be, could the Empire have stood up to them? I'm guessing not.

 

So let's call it a draw.

Put an overpowered Solar Ionization Reactor in between two cheap-ass engines and a couple of laser cannon, put a chair with a rudimentary flight control and targeting computer on top, and surround the (unpressurized!) pilot with enough armor plate so he doesn't fry in a tenth of a second... riiiiiiiiight

Are they really comparable guys? I mean one falls more in the fantasy domain and the other falls more in the science fiction domain...come on, grow up.

Actually this thread has made me start weeping as well! Can a moderator please lock it, i've just burst into tears again. Everybody has done this again and again over the years to the same meaningless and pointless conclusions...
