And those who have the game Alpha Centauri may like to know that the extension can be downloaded for free as well and if you don't have Alpha Centauri i suggest you get it since it really is an awesome game :P

Very cool Mad. I wasn't the biggest fan of the original GTA games, but I might give them a whirl.

History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.

Whoa Yeah. I loved GTA2 and Alpha Centauri. Gotta bookmark this...

EDIT: Does AC by any chance offer multiplayer?

Wait a sec, youpeople actually pay for games?

How quaint.

I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.

Haven't played any good games? I feel your pain, I only pay for good games too, although that doesn't mean I don't play bad games (I just don't pay for them :D) :).

Speaking of Rockstar Classics, whenever I try to download GTA2 I get some error about trying later.. so if anyone succeeds in actually downloading it, please tell me.

A pirates life is the life for me....

PCGamer (from where i got the news) says that the server is often overloaded so that it would be quite hard to download.

I just got it to download for me (Around 10:09 here, so it's probably 8:00-9:00 where you are Igor). I've got about 10 minuntes until the D/L is finished :D

I dont like the original GTA games too much. GTA 3 was what started it all for me.

GTA Vice City is also what started it for me.

I spent a little time yesterday playing GTA 2, and I now understand why I didn't play it. For a bit I couldn't get past the graphics, but that subsided. After that, the fact that the city is set up in such a way as to be more maze-like than anything else turned me completely off. I guess if you spend enough time playing it to know where you're going, I can see how it could be entertaining.

Exactly what I found out when I tried playing the originals. It made trying to complete the missions almost impossible for me.

Actually after you play it for a while you get used to it. The hard part actually is that there are more than 1 level (3 for GTA2) so once you get used to the first level, it whisks you away to the 2nd.. I for example could easily find my way around the first level after a while :).
I've found for all the GTA that they're great fun . . . for around a week, then they get boring. Same missions throughout the games, each game gets some new feature, graphics and other little things to get you hooked - though it isn't long until you get bored of the same old thing
