I was just playing a casual game today when a crappy rebel fleet shows up around chandrilla (my big shipyard center) defeat the 50 or so defender squadrons there and promply toast all my shipyards. needlessly to say, I was annoyed. So I staion one of my larger fleets ther and fortify it with SSD Thrawn . I then build ten esp. droids and send them to each planet in the sector (all in my control). a few days later I almost crap my pants when I see rebel fleet going to 8 out of the ten planets. Here's the kicker though, while I thought it was bad that ALL 8 fleets were going to arrive within 15 days of each other , PLUS EACH fleet had at least two dauntless cruisers in it. I only had my coresant defence fleet and the thrawn fleet in range. Some important plantes were all fried. I could see maybe a human player doing this, but the stOOpid AI has never been this clever, any insight?

Enjoy. It's moments like this that still make the game fun. Years ago, aware of a Death Star over Coruscant, I took my grand 'Republic Fleet' to Gorman, only to discover to my horror the AI had built to of the buggers.
