Hey, i can't remember where to put the Music files. I can't see anywhere on the website which tells you where to put it

c:\homeworld2\data\sound\music\swmusic\battle etc

Thats what you should end up with with the exception that you may have homeworld2 in a different folder or installed under a different name. And hows that for fast response

Well its not that fast but its hardly bad (now if anyone would kindly post about my semi prob i won't get all angry and leave the republic to die)

yea it was fast, but it was wrong, the music still doesnt work

Do you have it turned on? When you start a game you have to set random music to on for the SW music to play.

I got the mod to work with the sound but the self extracting music pack doesn't seem to be working for me.. Help...

everyone had that problem so as long as people who have problems place the sound folder in the data folder you'll be ok

i have a data folder but in it there is no sound folder just music, englishspeech, homeworld, english. no sound help me and i dont know how to open the big folders. please help me

Ah seems to be the same case for me too, what is actually in the swmusic folder a .big file or other types of data files??? G_A_P could you post a screen of your warlords dir pointing to the swmusic folder with that open using windows explorer please it could shead some light on the subject. Thanks in advance.

with the latest folder everythin is pretty much extracted into the data folder. The music sounds etc are placed in the music.big file. Problem is i too have pas musique (thats frech btw), except in the menu. Evil i tried using sigma extractor to take the music files out and sort them out. Problem is the extractor doesnt seem to like the music.big file.

Is that message on the download page refering to this release (the one about the music pack)
