I was wondering in ion cannns did anything like take shealds down or disable wepons. All so ion cannon shots are supposed to pass through shelds I don't know if that is happing.

in 0.29 ion cannons will only disable ships, in the upcoming version they will damage shields like lasers do and then do disabling damage to the hull (stuff like planetary ions will simply shred shields with the first hit and then the second hit will disable the craft)

what do you mean diable? do they stop fireing?

yeah they cant do jack then, didnt u ever play the x-wing series, god that name brings back good memories.

i wouln't mind seeing a new version of those games come out...maybe with chiss and vong fighters in addition to the traditional ties and rebel fighters
