Hi all,

 

I've been a big fan of Star Wars Supremacy (UK name) for the last few years, and it's always irritated me that LucasScum apparently refuse to make a sequel.

 

I know that there are ideas out for Rebellion/Supremacy 2 already, but these all involve building some huge graphical interface and super-clever AI for the first release (as far as I can tell).

 

I propose to develop (for a first release) a relatively simple game. Simple interface, space battles automatically concluded, multiplayer only, etc. I've got a great deal of experience in writing engines with C++ and Java.
