I was just playing around, Cain, your alright. How is Homeworld 2 compared to Rebellion in terms of gameplay and functionality? I am sure the graphics are much better giving it's new(ness).

 

Might have to pick it up if it's any count.

It's more tactical, less of the mouse-clicking and more worrying about how best to quash the enemy fleet

 

I think its very much what the tactical mode of Rebellion could have been... with better controls and graphics.

So what is the point to the game? Are their planets like in Rebellion or is it just big space battles? And is it in real time or turn-based?

No planets (only as background), just space. And it is real-time.

 

Trust me, you'll love the game. Get Homeworld 1 and play it, and then get Homeworld 2 and play it.

Also play Cataclysm (a Homeworld 1.2 : ) ...best storyline of all 3 games .....

 

 

Hey guys remember when the thing get's alive ?! I was so desperate to save my fighters and zomming around non-stop than It realy scared me when the Alliens said: "- WE LIVEEEEEEEE!" or something ...also I had the sound at max so.....my heart jumped a little at that sound ...he,he a fine monent of space-horror-strategy

it is like another homeworld game. i only have the original homeworld. my CPU is too crappy to handel H2. star wars mods are great for HW games. especially love it when 5 ISDs go up against a smaller force.
