February 5, 200422 yr with all the new found ways you guys can edit the game.... is there a way you can make it like 24 bit pictures for cards? I'd be makeing a load of them then.
February 5, 200422 yr Nope, not without the sourcecode, which LEC is somehow reluctant to give out.But I'd give it a try anyway. You can for example use Photoshop to save the palette of a picture, that already has the palette for ingame graphics, like the cards do. Then you can try the filters on your own picture and see, which one works best. Playing around with the % value in "Diffusion" can give you some unexpected results. http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
February 5, 200422 yr Oh yeah, and don't use pink, lilac colors (atleast don't use them as gradients), because the game don't really support those colors. (it will look crappy, once you converted it)
February 6, 200422 yr There are also some shades of light blue that it will not accept, as I found out while make Chiss Character cards Droids Rule! Fleshies Drool!
February 21, 200422 yr Let me guess: Chiss skin-blue Z'anthr saves the world. Sorry about the mess...
February 22, 200422 yr So the game changed the Chiss into Defels ? Talk about stubborn programs http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
February 22, 200422 yr Maybe we could use this new dimension in our TC Z'anthr saves the world. Sorry about the mess...
February 23, 200422 yr As long as it doesn't turn Twi'Leks into Hutts it's fine with me.. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
February 23, 200422 yr I shudder at the prospect of seeing Twi'ts and Hutleks Slade, you can still give it a try with the existing palette. Hundreds of cards already made, can't be wrong : it really is possible to make good-looking pics for Rebellion. http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
February 25, 200422 yr From my experiments with Photoshop and Rebellion's pallete, everything can be eventually resolved by subtly adding a light-blur effect... you just have to play around a little, and given I for one spend most of my time with PS 'experimenting' due to the fact I haven't a clue half the time what i'm doing! But it seems to resolve colour issues. http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
