I must agree, I have around 70 of the Star Wars books and I can't get enough of the story after the story. Though I would think that GL would read some of the books before adding stuff into the movie that has already been touched on. The Death Star was (in th ebooks) created by a group of scientists in the Maw cluster, near Kessel, but in the movies it was Already invented before Palpatine declared himself Emporer. Whenever Luke is on a unsuccessful mission he experiences a Force Growth, the same goes for Leia once she finds out about her true heritage. If luke goes on a mission and confronts Vader or the Emporer and it fails and he doesn't get captured i've noticed that he gets two force growths.

I also think that when Mark Hamill first signed on to play Luke , he signed a 4 movie deal.

Maybe that's why there have been no books about him, just the Solo twins. Also heard that before the NJO books are finished more main characters will go the way of Chewie and Anakin Solo

From what I've heard about Eps. vii, viii, ix,(if they are to be made) they are supposed to be about Ben Skywalker, which would explain the drastic age difference for the original SW characters... but don't quote me on this.

What I do is blockade a planet and then send Luke on a sabotage mission by himself, this way whether he succeeds or not his stats go up. If he fails the mission though his force rating goes up as well.

I think that every one is forgetting that Star Wars has Ion Cannons, one blast from a planet based Ion Cannon would wreak havok on a Borg cube or any Star Trek ship.

Once Luke is a Jedi Knight, hold ctrl and click on all of the characters that have force potential, click on mission and the training should be there. If you dont have any potential Jedi, then move Luke to each location where you have characters and let him sit for a few days and he should find someone, if he doesn't themn move him again. The same goes for Vader.

Hyperdrive is obviously faster than warp, The Enterprise first made contact with the Borg In Season 2 (i think) and it took the Borg 2 or 3 seasons to reach the alpha quadrant... Even an Z-95 Headhunter with no warp could get there faster (maybe)

Exactly. Or how about every time you win a battle your ships, fighters and command crew gain experience based on the outcome of the battle, or make it so that each individual ship keeps track of it's kill count...
