  1. I don't plan on getting either any time soon. The new Mac's are too damn expensive, and I don't think a Macbook can run HW2...'~'
  2. I'm talking about the dat strings that cannot be overwritten on the mac. Anyway, a car costs more than $8k. P.S. Merry Christmas everyone!!!
  3. I know this is a bit off topic, but could you give me any suggestions on porting mods to Mac? Other than avoiding $8000-$8999, etc. ?
  4. Thanks eville, the mod works now ^_^. One last bug: skirmish games do not end after destroying all enemy ships, and I can't change startingfleets(latter is probably a bug, like you wrote in the Readme). The former, however, also occurs occasionally in the PDS mod (when I'm running it) and the BSG mod during certain gametypes. Maybe the victory conditions in the .level file are not set?
  5. So, just for confirmation, the line I execute is the 'Users/...blah blah blah followed by -mod CLONEWARS0.8.big -OverrideBigFile, right? P.S. Thanks!
  6. If this is the case, how would I decompile CLONEWARSV0.8.BIG to override the shipicons.lua? Also, I suppose that when you say 'blank', you mean a file with no lua coding whatsoever, right?
  7. First of all, sorry for the bump. I downloaded the macologist version of Warlords- Clone Wars v0.8. After moving the .BIG file to the data folder, I executed the -mod CLONEWARS0.8.BIG in the terminal. I started up a normal deathmatch, but the game kept crashing at UIShipIcons. Some helpful info: I use a mac, OSX 10.4, Tiger. I tried doing this on both an external harddrive and my internal drive. I did not use the launch script that came with the package, because it refused to work. I did not decompile my default HW2 .BIG files. (The Readme said something about the launcher overwriting the shipicons folder, could be the source of the problem) Thanks in advance!
