  3. Nice work, but a suggestion maybe do a small uv map tutorial using texporter so we can see what was done to get to this point.
  4. hey guys, this is for Vader ;D. No on to more important things ideas and opinions are always appreciated. Shalokran did the skinning and I did the rigging and animations so I will pass on the info about the skin. I have some more pics for you coming later today.

First start troubleshooting step by step. start with the planet name which is coded like this TEXT_OBJECT_STAR_SYSTEM_DURO now make sure that this (TEXT_OBJECT_STAR_SYSTEM_DURO / Duro) has been added to the masterfile_english.dat by using the dat editor. If so and it still doesn't work then check your spelling and how you wrote the name (NO SPACES BETWEEN WORDS, CAPS AND SO ON) and compare with what is in the masterfile_english with what you coded in the line and then you should see any mistakes. Post as soon as you test the outcome so we can help more if needed.
  9. Hey guys make sure you have service pack 3 for max8 and directx 9 and also use the .alo plugin from the FOC map editor.
  10. lol that is funny but in all seriousness I was interested in knowing more about the diplomacy you have built into the game, I was also wondering about beta testing as well. I'm not asking for your specific code but I would like to have an idea of the mechanics involved in setting it up because I htink diplomacy would be an important part of the game especially in FOC. I have looked around in trying to setup diplomacy for my mod but I havnt been able to get anywhere so any help you can provide information wise would be a big help.

  15. I agree to there should be more land units in mods then there has been in the past, I am going to try myself and get more into Galactic Resurrection. The way I see it there needs to be some good tutorials put up on how to do land units for EAW and FOC so we can then start adding them in. I do plan to use this tank in my mod Galactic Resurrection so thank you Avenger. Great work!
  16. I have it running in FoC and it seems fine except looking close it seems to step below the ground level so I was wondering if anyone else noticed it, most likely an issue to be fixed in the max file.

  19. Star Wars: Galactic Resurrection Mods Mod for Forces of Corruption expansion for EAW. I plan to release three mods based on different periods with new factions and units based on the time span in between 12ABY to 125ABY. I do realize this is quite the undertaking on my part but this is mostly for me and anyone else who likes the newer stories and who would like to see something from these time periods. This is just the begining and a primer for what is to come. I'm still working on the ideas and the setup but work has begun. Anyone who would like to join my team are to message me untill my website and forums are up and running. I'm looking for the usual bunch of modders into modeling and coding and other areas of expertise. Factions right now look to be Imperial Remnant, New Republic, Consortium and one to be announced later for the first release. Then for release II it will be 4 factions as well and will be named at a later time and the same for release III. Each of these releases will be built as separate mods not upgrades or addons. I am working on a schedule to plan out the first release but until I have more of my ideas coded and modeled I don't have a public time frame. Any questions for now just message me and I hope to hear from some of the community. Release I: Galactic Resurrection the New Empire Release II: Galactic Resurrection the Yuuzhan Vong War Release III: Galactic Resurrection the New Sith War Soon to follow will be some unit renders and possibly a unit list by faction.

  22. I have tried adding a faction to FoC and I'm getting it to work for one day then it says i'm defeated and its the end. I wanted to know if you could either share your code or write what changes you made so I can compare and get mine to work. I also wanted to know how you setup the heroes whether you put them as starting units or did you get the sandbox files to do it.
