I've done all that contrary to what would be sensible... the particle fx are not controlled by XML files... searching the souce xml for instances of them file names produces no results... I could edit those, but they are the masters, and editing them would edit all of their children... Every object i've opened in a hex ediot references them master files All I need to do is find a way to convert the nonsense characters into something sensible... Been searching the past few hours for some hex editing shizzle, anything to gleam some light on what the hell is going on in them files... oh well, it's all fun (*cries* I want my "ParticleSystem.INI"!!) edit: that's not strictly true... there is a particles.xml, but you can only change sizes and lifetimes in that really... You can change the model... but but i'm no modeller so i know (censored) all about that
