  5. You can see the code when Total Realism (2.3?) is released by Steiner modding. I do know it was implemented already in that mod.
  6. It is possible, I think you would just edit the missiles so their unselectable, even with ctrl-a and make them a fast fighter that spawns when the weapon fires. I'm not sure about the coding part of this as I haven't tried it yet but the logic seems right.
  7. I noticed that as well, but ray shields will burn or even disintegrate someone (if the shield is powerful enough) if they try pass through shields. So it's not an error.
  8. Back on my idea for the shields, you could code in an effect for that planet, like the one on Byss (was it Byss?) that increases AT-AT firepower, that gives a bonus to the shielding of in-game ISDs for the Imperials.
  9. That would make capturing planets worth, well capturing. So, each planet should be able to produce it's own unique unit in addition to the regular ships. For example: Mon Cal Empire: Able to build ISD with more durable shields there. Mon Cal Rebel: Able to build Mon Cal Cruisers Kuat Empire: ISD II & ISD III can be built there. Eclipse-class Star Dreadnought Executor-class Star Dreadnought Sovereign-class Star Dreadnought Dominator & Tector Class also Kuat Rebel: Rebel ISD can be built.   10. You should be able to have as many heroes as you want. Do you have her icon in the command bar and commandbar.mtd?

  12. Yes, but I don't know how to get both weapons to be fireable. --Does anyone know if I just add another button to the command bar or have to code so that both weapons fire at the same time?

  18. Get me a couple images of the hover train, an idea for the ground transports, an image of the Nonnah, an image of the energy collector thingy and those thingys on the ground. Then wait about a week, and you'll have a couple of complete, untextured (because I can't texture very well), and ready models. As well as a list of the bones for the models. (I can't do engine glows very well, yet...)
  19. RTS games have usualy fared far better for the PC than for counsles. Exceptions are TBS games like Fire Emblem, and the like.
  20. Most freeware notepad replacments have support for XML editing. So they should have debugging tools. Just not geared towards EaW. Try: Notepad2 Or: google for a freeware notepad replacment.
  21. PCIe has the same speed as AGP right now, but there are more and more PCIe cards and less and less AGP cards. But I'm going PCIe (dual video cards)I just don't have the video cards yet lol

  24. What I mean by not going over budget is not spending WAY too much, but I have been using a credit card to get some points . I have a preset limit to how much I want to spend, but I do have a couple hundred extra,
