  1. OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I didn't see that on the other screenies, thanks. EDIT:Behold, the wierdest and most basic texture you have ever seen! I have a strange feeling it's going to turn out bright pink, but rest assured I will wack myself when it does.
  2. Hmm...It's longer, but I still don't get why half of it is wider. On the model the whole thing seems to be a complete spherical cylinder thingy(You know what I mean)
  3. No, the UVs are good. They're always confusing, lol.
  4. Ok. I'll begin work on the kneecap. Rundas isn't going so well. EDIT: Nevermind, I said foot. Where exactly is the kneecap UV? It's baffling me. It looks really wierd. Is that blocky thing sticking out the top that 'skip' on Quadraxis' knees?
  5. Ah. So I should try to hide both, then. I'll have the tendrils black instead of purple, then. I guess it's easy to reapply the skins, then. I think I'll just use the little sections. It can be kind of confusing to see what part of the skin covers what sometimes. I'll try to make the kneecap.(Just realised the kneecap is the covering, not the hexagonal tessalation underneath)
  6. I'm not sure... Would you prefer me to use the UV of the entire leg, or the separate pieces? I think I'm gonna do the kneecap next. Maybe the tendrils first. Also, I had an idea to make him Phazon corrupted instead of Ing possessed. Would you like that? I'll probably do both versions.

  10. lol? Quadraxis is cool, but he was beaten by Samus pretty quickly. He's not exactly the main antagonist of the series...

  13. 1)Yes, that's how it worked in the game. 2)I'm sorry, but I think it always does...I was never able to control that. 3)Yes, it should fight. 4)No, the head's only purpose will be to avenge it's body and possibly win the battle, since once the body dies Quadraxis dies from the galactic map.
  14. Yes, there is a code for a rebirth mechanisim. The scout trooper and Skiff uses it. You can have one unit spawn another when it dies. It's lots of fun, I remember when I made Rebel pilots come out of snowspeeders when they blow up.
  15. Ah... I'm talking about ingame. There's an animation of the head flying away in one of your screenies. Would Quadraxis just turn into a turret, with the head flying around in circles, or would you make the floating head a separate model and have the head a separate unit when you destroy Quadraxis body?
  16. LOL, the forum was giving me trouble too! How did my purple turn so pink!? It was supposed to be 'ing tainted purple', not 'power puff pink'! "It's not pink! It's lightish red!"~Donut I'll try to fix that. Also, just out of curiosity, how does the head separation work?

  18. I know it's a template, that's what UVs are. It just looks like it won't wrap around the model properly. I'm probably wrong. I'll try to work on it today. EDIT: I tried skinning the UV. Well, it didn't turn out so good, but could you put it on the model to see if it works ok?

  20. Be 'Re-UV', I mean reapply the skin to the model. I stopped working on Quadraxis and started on Rundas because I thought you were gone.
  21. WHOA! When you said it was divided into sections, I thought you meant 3 or 4, not 12! I can probably skin it(Starting with the easy parts) but in some cases it's hard to tell what the UV is of. For instance, what is "main body leg joint.bmp"? The head, which I am about to skin, appears to be more of a screenshot of the head wireframe from the side than a UV. But I'll skin it anyways! EDIT: Oh my, we're both online! EDIT2:I didn't even notice your last few posts somehow... How silly of me : Before I continue, will you be able to re-UV the combined map onto the model?

  24. Are dead threads allowed to remain sticky? LOL, this hasn't been used in a while, but it's sticky and awesome, so whatever. I finally cracked the bounty hunter code! I was looking through the 'story mode and tutorial scripting system' document and found this: STORY_CONSTRUCT (Object name) (number to construct) (side doing construction filter) Triggers when a specific object or objects are constructed by the player/AI. You can use it in conjunction with another action to disable a certain hero for the other factions when one buys him. I'm gonna try it on Boba. I'll have the XML code up once I know for sure that it works.
  25. Sadly, I have no clue. I'm not really a modeler...All I know is that in the end you'll have a wireframe skin of him that I could turn into a skin. EDIT: BTW, did you try out the new Samus?
