  2. Greetings my friends! Petroglyph is going to give out map packs for EaW and FoC, but we need your talents to provide the community with cool maps for your battles. If you know how to start the map editor, you should do that at once, and send us your most amazing maps. Check out the tutorials that came with the editor, you'll notice that creating maps is a lot of fun! Depending on the "ammunition" you provide us with, we'll create easy to use installers for you, and give you new maps every two weeks. Everyone will be playing one of your maps! So what do you have to do to submit your maps to us? Please put them in a zip file, and send them to eaw_map-project@rts-community.com . Make sure you have checked your maps for bugs and if all is working fine, because it won't come into one of the packs if we find any bugs. Please give us your Name (real or nickname) in the eMail so we can credit you as creator of your map. Lets support the community with amazing ground fights and stunning space battles! cheers Chris

  4. Well i can't promise anything, but i think it would be possible to release in 4 to 5 weeks. We have to look at the codes, understand the features, add the units, and then do the ballancing and beta testing. Furtunately I allready have a lot finished and done from SAU 3.0, so that we can use the texts and such things - it's just copy & paste. I hope we will soon be able to give you a precise date of release

  6. GabRaz you have to make sure the the hoxfix movs to the correct folder, the RSD alo mus be placed within the Model folder of the SAU3 art folder

  9. Amazing Tool! Man it runn run now day and night here to get the bloody text things done ^^ the multilanguage supports ist excelent, and you can now work with more than just one person on the text strings. This thing really is wonderfull
  10. Awakening of the Rebellion AotR ist a full conversion of the EaW Gameplay. Our goal with AotR was to show the 2 factions as they had been in the films. The Units themself are totally inbalanced as it should be from wghat we know from films and books. While the Empire player has a lot of firepower and the very stronger units, the Rebelplayer can use different tactics to bring the Empire down. With special smugglers you can cut the Empire from it's recources, with the infiltration teams you can raid a planet and destroy important building, than start a space attack. There are many different ways how you can use your units! The galaxy is not so easy to use as it was in EaW. You can't build everything everywhere. For building starships you need special production facilities, wich can only be build on sepcial planets, the same thing is with the groundunits, so you can train very special shocktrooper units on Carida, or get help as Rebell from Wookies on Kashyyyk. This Mod is pretty "old" so there is just a hand of new units. Soon I'll start working on AotR 1.5 and will add all the new Units from the advanced Units Mod. Steiners Advanced Units Mod Well you can say that this is something like a units pack. We did all the space modells new, and a Stardestroyer now really is a (censored) with a hell of firepower. It now also takes more than 5 Corellian Corvets to bring it down! All in all you can say the we upgraded nearly every unit. The SSD is playable too, we added the Arc Hammer ad a starfighter Production Craft, and while you explore the galaxy you can find some special features and younits. So you can use Grandadmiral Thrawn on the Empirial side, once you conquered the Chiss world, or find held by some left Jedi who had been hiding in Ruins of Korriban. It was important to us thar we show more a classical background to some world, wich we think is much more fun that just getting a 25% bonus to you starfighter shields. Oh right, I was talking about the much more units...
