i can explain how this bug works. basically before having any issues ive redone my machine completely. running winxp pro latest drivers everything install CDROM collectors edition, and bonus disk. before the game was huge online, there was like only 40 people on when i got my copy. i could play no problem. when the national coverage aired the commericals, this is when i started to have issues. when connecting to a game, you join into one, so for example, with a ping of 99. once you get in, you try to bring down your side to empire, because to even up the match, and it pops back. now also, you cant change your colors.. does the same thing. rumor is that is might fix it by having the host change the map and changing back, but that was a rumor from 1 person online, and i have had no luck. this issue also happens when i host a game as well, im unable to switch sides, nor color. now this is with a clean reinstall of winxp, all drivers. the only things that i might think is wrong that i was pondering were 2 things 1.) being that i registered before the big push for people trying to create online accounts, and my account got messed up on the end of gamespy. 2.) being that i own the collectors edition cd-rom version with the bonus cd installed. *** i have not tried to install the game regalar yet without the bonus cd, so that is my next step on tracking this sucker down, so everyone can play. now, if you just stay that side, and manage not to get kicked from the host, cuz you cant change sides to even the battles, you can join internet games with the side that it is stuck on, which is usually rebels... Go EMPIRE! n e ways, im preparing a video of the bug, and will post it here on this thread so we can get this sucker whacked. ok guys later

Hello Guys... btw, Mike is the coolest guy ever to meet and when I was striving to learn about the gaming community when I was in High School, which was located not only 30 feet away from Westwood Studios, Mike talked to me about things that inspired myself to have a creative ability which I still use now. He never gave up on me, and the first day after G'ing High School, I started at Westwood Studios.hen he had time. I was what you call a Beta Tester, or QA, for all the popular games, including the Command and Conquer game. WhoH Hooo! Mike, thankz again if I didn't repeat it much for helping me with my life and putting it in the right path. But to answer that question about the old westwood studios building, it is still there standing, but EA moved from the building and it turned into like a vacation business place; from the last time I saw it. I'm glad to see Mike posted on these forums, and they are working hard to make sure anyone that plays the games they create will have a blast. These guys put their hearts and minds into all these projects, and they are working for you. Big Credit to Mike!
