  2. Yeah after playing for a bit now i can see that the AI REALLY lacks sooo much and really is VERY inept in what it should be able to do... I really hope this can be fixed via a official patch or some guy with the brains to figure it all out

Nice to see some common sense in these matters instead of the USUAL flame war LOL Athanasios just a quick thing through youre travels in the XML's etc...Have you seen anywhere to increase the AI ability to make and attack/Defend with a little more vigor??? I think if you could crack that area as well this MOD will be the top of the list for some time

I was also going to add that like my tech was up too lvl 5 etc can build Deathstar etc Man that is a bummer..Normally on ANY other game you play on hard YOU get RAPED so to speak Geez that is a let down Alos they seem to HOARD there base capitals Like you play Imp the hoard Neb's/Corvettes You play Rebs they Hoard Acc's/Tartans as i said im Tech 5 for goodness sake LOL where are the higher end Capitals
  6. \Well guys (EAW:TR Crew) Gotta say WELL BLOODY DONE this is prob the ONLY mod out there THAT incorporates what I'm after, Ship/Ground scaling, Combat balancing +added features, that until now you either had to live with 1 mod and have to edit other XML's to get what you were after in another Mod etc But i do ? a couple of things... I'm playing 1.02 ATM ill wait till 1.04 before updating etc. But back to my real Question.. Ive played both sides in Ver 1.0 and now 2.0 and no matter what side i play wether it be Rebel or Imperial, the opposite side just ISNT aggressive MOSTLY in the galactic map (moving) and I'm playing on HARD lol. Shead some light on that? 1st pic is the Nose of the Victory LOL the nose when destroyed is not well... destroyed And the 2nd Pic is of the SD or Accuser (Piets Ship) The engine lighting is kinda little small LOL
  7. Yeah i actually have to agree, it is a REAL pity the land and space maps arient bigger. Having said that, its is cool to muck around with these type of things and have fun with it..Actuallly the coolest part is i can have the game running change a size value go back into the game while its running and see the effect immediatly

  12. Actually i didnt even look at a pic i was JUST going on memory LOL And at the tim when i was a kid and saw ESB for the 1st time and Luke went roping up the AT-AT with his LS, and i said are you NUTS!!! LOL + i used the vision slit on the AT-AT to gauge some perspective
  13. Ahhh thxs mate didnt think about a plugin LOL Well if you have been able to extract the texture then you should be able to insert back into the larger file that you extracted the texture from And it'll work from there
  14. Well i tried 3.00, and surfice to say it was actually still too small. If you look at the New scale pic and compare the troopers to the feet youll see that the scale is about right And i havent EVEN done the AT-ST that last new scale pic with a close up of the troopers and the AT-ST is sooo outta whack its not funny LOL

  18. @Foshjedi i take it you you tried the edit?? there is 1 problem with that.. If you reduce the size of the troops then youre going to have to resize the turrets/buildings etc right down to the terrian on the maps. If you use the troops as a guide to rescaling the job is a lot easier
  19. @Necro Ty Also looking into REDUCING somewhat the accuracy and damage of both Empire and Rebel Artillery to give each side a fighting chance. I think that that type of discussion has been beaten to death but if both sides are a little reduced it'll mean longer battles and a bit of extra surviving on both sides
  20. @Foshjedi it was originally 1.75... i increased to 4.00 quiet i HUGE increase but for what i was looking for 4 .00 was the magical number @Zenoth ive been playing Hoth for over 4 hours with these new sizes and the funny thing is that EACH walker RESPECTS each others space so the dont mesh or collide Like there are alotta settings in the game XML wise but i was after resizing mostly Also looking at incresing the AT-ST a little in size too so IT looks like 2 of the ground troops COULD fit in there...ATM you couldnt PAY me enough to sit in 1 LOL
  21. Hi fellas Well Ive been doing a bit of mucking around with scales etc, because I WAS very unhappy with the scale of some things especially the AT-AT. It didn't look fearsome/or something to be feared... Unfortunatly with the DEFAULT camera that is with the game you WOULDNT be able to see the whole AT-AT, So ive been useing the custom camera someone made up and i downloaded Camera_Free.rar found at http://www.petroden.com/eaw_game_mods.shtml... Its the same camera settings that the Space battle use
