  1. I wish it were that easy. For example in the past 48 hours I have worked over 36 hours and I have family responsibilities as sleep as well as food requirements on top of that. Hell right now I'm taking a short break from work and it is 3:40AM and I have to finish the project by 10:00 and I'm not entirely sure I'll get it all done to my standards by that time.
  2. OK. Well for the record several of the community leaders are on the Ventrilo server nearly everyday (often at different times however) so if you want to talk to them as a group or as individuals that option is always there. Our oldest community is The Dark Brotherhood (run by Fenbab) and our newest is The Mockers (run by Hypno), so if I was you I would contact those people first. Additionally, currently we setting up a couple new communities such as a general 3D modeling one (run by VinnieMC) and two persistent world projects for Never Winter Nights 2. Sadly the two world projects are still in the planning stages and I do not know the specific community leader yet.
  3. So what is the census on things now? I have not heard from anyone is sometime and I noticed thread about a new nexus network.
  4. Very nice indeed. Now if only i had more free time...
  5. Regarding the comments about the services page and the ranking, modcraft is a little over six weeks old. Currently myself and one other are doing all the dev work and I work about 70 hours a week and I still find time to be online and doing stuff every day. So things are slow but moving along at a steady pace. Regarding website space for you guys that is a given to be sure. The same also applies for direct FTP access. Speaking of which we also have a 5TB storage archive set up now. Also I am the only owner so I can do and purchase any services I feel would add value to the community and I dont need anyones permission before I decide to do anything. Regarding the comments by the current site host, it seems that he is making an effort to take care of you guys now and I dont want to be the blame for any hurt feelings and as a site owner I can empathize with his position. So I would suggest you guys talk to him first and try to work things out. If you cant get what you want to come and talk to me. I only made the offer because I was under the impression you all had basically been relegated to the pages of history here with the new official PPF and the lost db stuff -etc...
  6. Well that is fine it is up to you guys. With that said, you should however consider the support you have received to date from the SWR people in terms of software and services as well as community marketing and hosting resources -etc... before you make up your mind.
  7. We already have IPB 2.1x (2.2 coming soon after first patch) and the entire community suite set up and other good stuff. For example, currently we are writing a custom Java based service application for the domain. That and more is all there for the community's exclusive use. You would also still be able to have your council and you and you alone would control your forums. Moreover your leader would be on the overall domain council and that decides the overall community makeup by voting on new projects and services for example.
  8. IF (and it is a big if) we can add your database into our without issues your threads will be stand alone. Moreover all your current membership names, passwords and signatures will be the same as here. You will also see only your forums if as you will have a direct URL. Regarding a domain name we can set something up I'm sure.
  9. I can assure you the community will not have strange issues with BS software. I spent over a couple thousand dollars on setting things up and buying the best software on the market for this type of endeavor. Moreover the site is heavily moderated and each community also picks its own.
  10. Aloha! Again guys you dont have to close the community.Such an extreme measure would be bad to say the least epically after many of you have spent more then a year as part of this community. If you decide to become part of modcraft.net you essentially would really only be changing domain names. Moreover you would be getting a loads more services as a result. I have know Cain for several years and he knows me well we have the same goals and objectives for Internet based game oriented communities so if you guys do agree to move you can be sure you will not have to move again.
  11. Yeah you guys would have your own forums and sub forums not an issue and yes we do our own skins for different groups. We can even look at merging databases however I'm sure that will work well but we can try. If Cain gives me back admin status I can do a backup of your forums again and try to merge things however it will likely take many hours and I dont want to try it unless you guys are 100%. Regarding the domain, everything is paid for in advanced for two years at a time so I can assure you there would be no more "moves". Moreover since the greater community supports many different games there would be no need even if your interests changed.
  12. No worries, the offer stands as long as you guys need. @Cain - I have added you to the admin group. So if you guys decide to join us as a team (individuals and other projects are always welcome) you will already be in the communication fold so to speak. The way I run the community is that all project leaders are part of the admin team and have an active voice in its operations.
  13. Well guys you always have a home with modcraft.net. The short list of services we offer to the guilds/clans and projects that decide to become part of our community is customized blogs, galleries & forums both public & private, a Ventrilo VoIP server, project sub-domains, FTP server(s), email addresses, project and guild hosting, a Radio Station, streaming media server(s), chat services, a torrent tracker, news letters and more.
  14. I been waiting for this movie for two years!
  15. I have looked into the set up and there was an extra "/" for the avatar directory. I removed it however it still did not work. I crossed referenced the file path with the attachments and made sure they were the same. However I had no luck. I can only guess that the "Chmod" for both directories has been set incorrectly. Since I don’t have direct server access I can't fix it. The domain owner needs to reset it again. I assume this was a result of the recent domain restore that happened.
