It's a great game, but the issues I discovered are these... --- 1) When I played the campaign as the empire at normal difficulty settings this happened to me... When the AI attacked my battle station he lost all his ships except one Nebulon B Frigate who were almost destroyed (50% damage, full shield) by my battlestation. I lost all my ships. I had myself just one Tartan Patrol Crusier and 2 Tie Fighters who spawned all the time. He succeeded to escape to the other end of the battlefield with his surviving ship where his ship started to camp. I discovered that I never will be able to kill his frigate with my tiny fleet. I just damaged his shield a little. The AI probably thought he will not succeed bringing my battlestation down (even when it was 50% damaged), so his ship did nothing except fired back when my tiny fleet attacked him. So after 20 minutes or so without the AI did nothing I thought I must retreat to end this pain waiting for him to react. I pressed retreat button and I had 3 options: cancel, autocombat (or whatever it was) and retreat. I pressed autocombat button and I won. Huh! What a pain. The pain will probably be worse in multiplayer games when no one wants to take initiative. Suggestion: AI should retreat if it discover it can't win or at least attack the battlestation. It should also be a timelimit how long a space battle should take, like max 40-60 minutes (combat with deathstar could take little longer time) so it doesn't become a problem in multiplayer games. Autocombat is automatically activated if none have won within 45-60 minutes. People could also setup this time in option menu. --- 2) When I tried out rebellion campaign (normal difficulty) this happened... After I have succeeded to steal the first 4 or so technology with R2D2 and C3PO, I couldn't steal more technology from the empire. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong. Maybe it's suppose to be like that. Empire havn't researched more? --- 3) Mouse managements is a pain when you shall move ground units from the base to a fleet. Especially when you create units. You can't really control where they shall go (fleet 1-3, ground base). All space units always go to fleet 1 and ground units always goes to ground base. Suggestion: A) Let each ground units also be stacked (as in the fleets) on the ground in Planet view. B) Let us have check boxes so we can easily set where a created unit should go to. Space craft checkboxes (3 checkboxes): Fleet 1, Fleet 2, Fleet 3 Ground units checkboxes (4 checkboxes): Ground Base, Fleet 1, Fleet 2, Fleet 3 All created space craft goes automatically to the Fleet X (1-3) if checkbox Fleet X is set under space craft checkboxes. All created ground units goes automatically to either Fleet X (1-3) or the Ground Base depending on which checkbox you have set under ground units checkboxes. With this everything becomes more easy to deal with when you create them, both for space and ground units.
