I used the DS2 in GC last night, and it appears to be imbedded in the map, could that be the reason it doesnt work in skirmish, cause its not set up to be in the actual map? Cause it doesnt appear to be a model, all you do is see the super laser shoot out thats it, it appears in the background? I dont know much about this stuff, but that what it looks like to me Scott -

Thanks to SWM i got the xml for at least playing the SSD in skirmish. I'm told its not possible to play the deathstar 2 and Eclipse. So here it is incase anyone is interested in it. -

I know this has been discussed in another thread regarding the use of these, or lack thereof actually. Can anyone post or send me the XML that allows these units to be used in Skirmish? I can't get the extractor to work on my laptop and need help with this. Thanks for any help. Scott -

Anyone have the Planets.xml for FoC, i need to edit it so i can get rid of Land battles. Plus my computer wont let me use the extractor. Any help would be great. thanks Scott

For whatever reason i can't install the extractors , cause it says i dont have the right SDK files installed. Can anyone send me the Planets.xml so i can edit it myself? PLease? Thanks Scott

Hey there, Has anyone updated the planets.xml for the new FoC Galactic Conquest? Also has anyone made the Executor and Eclipse playable in the Skirmish modes? I'm new to this area, and i can't play land, cause my graphics card sucks so i want to disable land fights in Galactic Conquest. thanks for any help. Scott

yeah iwas thinking i would have to do something like that. As far as i know it has disabled teh building of ground units period. So i'll just modify the one planet. Thanks Scott

I have downloaded a Planets.xml for the demo. I was curious if it had the same amount of planets that the retail version has. I was wondering if someone else made a Planets.xml that is for the retail version, not the demo. Thanks Scott

True, you're point about EMPIRE at War is right. It is about that. I guess i dont have much of an arguement for that. Just still would like to see if from start to finish. EU was made by writers NOT Lucasarts. Anything star wars should be done by Lucasarts only, thats just my opinion and i will never waiver from it. EU i have read some, good, some bad. Still not completely orchestrated , even though approved by George himself, still not Lucas. EU games is interesting in itself i suppose. But for this i'm just wanting the clone wars era added into this game, and continue up to RoTj. But you are again right, if you have a civil war game, do you make a revolutionary game expansion. Probably not, but then just make a game like "rise of nations" and go from beginning to end. Expansion in their world was just more civs and governments. EIther way, i'm happy with EMPIRE at war, guess it should of been named something else so we can have all eras PLus expansions can be named something else, Republic at War. Universe at War. etc. Scott -

I think everything we want is going to be too big for this game, or any. Unless you want the expansion to be a six cd rom like Bfme2 lol I still think a complete game is in order from phantom to return of the jedi. EU i dont think is official enough to build a video game off of. But is KoTR based on that? If lucasarts writes it, its more legit to me. EU is still of writers making up their own stuff. SWGB/CC is my favorite game, but its air is nothing like EaW, that is why i want Clone war units and forward. Fighting with two factions to me is not enough. I dont think SWGB/CC covered enough. But again, game maybe too big if we add all this. I'd like to see, more planets, more factions and more units. I had downloading mod's that arent popular with online play, cause then you and a select few are the only ones who play it. Official mod's are the way to go. with no disrepect to MOdders cause they do know their stuff and are quite good at it. Thanks Scott -

I think an expansion should cover "clone wars" still al ot of vehicles from both sides that are missing. Also New hope and forward. Just make it a complete game so you can any era of star wars. Thanks Scott -
Thanks appreciate it. We got about 11 active EaW members. Hard to find a lot of clan people on the game. Lots of young mouthy kids on the game. Shame too, great game, horribly community. Thanks Scott
